TITLE : Grand momentum SIZE : 90inch x 120inch MEDIUM : Oil on Canvas ARTIST: Oluwole-Emmanuel Olusola YEAR : 2024 NARRATIVE: Life is often stressful, filled with struggles, difficulties and hardships, all which create fear, depression, frustration, anxiety and in most cases, mental illness. In creation of this piece, I symbolised the struggle and hardship that people go through in life as the chaotic clash of two strong bulls. It is through the struggle and hardship, something beautiful and extraordinary is created, which is the portrayal of the female African dancers.
